Ugandan Weightlifter Runs Away From Olympics To Start A New Life


A 20-year-old Ugandan weightlifter by name Julius Ssekitoleko, did not show up for his daily COVID-19 test, which is a requirement of taking part at this summer’s Olympic Games.

Yesterday, it emerged that weightlifter from Uganda-Julius Ssekitoleko who went missing from an Olympic training camp on Friday reportedly left a note in relation to his intention with the note saying, he wanted to stay in Japan as back home was too hard.

He doesn’t want to go back to Africa again because of the hardship in his country and he’s not the only person to do something like this, it has happened many times.

According to some reports by CNN, the weightlifter left a note he wants to work in Japan.
