Just In: WAEC Cancels And Sets New Dates For Writing Some WASSCE Papers


The West African Examinations Council WAEC is an examination board established by law to determine the examinations required in the public interest in the English-speaking West African countries, to conduct the examinations and to award certificates comparable to those of equivalent examining authorities internationally.

In the trends today, a Ghanaian WASSCE candidate leaked the original WAEC questions for the WASSCE 2021 Business Management and Physics papers.

The report went viral few minutes to the writing of the papers as the popular education supervision organization EduWatch reported the malpractice to the CID which led to an impromptu decision by WAEC to cancel the affected papers and schedule a different date for their re-writing.

According to the reportage, the examinations board wanted to cancel all written papers that have already been written and those who are yet to be written but finally arrived at the decision to cancel only the leaked papers in order to prevent delay in the entire exams process.
