Born Emmanuel Andrew Samini on the 22nd of December 1981, He crafted himself by the stage name Batman Samini which was later changed to Samini as he is known.

Even though he hails from Wa in the Upper West region of Ghana, Samini was born in Accra.

Samini rose to fame as a musician with a record label identified as the Ashanti International back in early 1999 and proceeded to build his own Record label known as The High Grade family which gave birth to talents like Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata amongst others.

It’s to his records that so far all seven Studio albums Samini has released have received a blooming success on the Ghanaian and International music market. He made the loudest hit with his debut single dubbed ‘Linda’ which still rings in the minds many music lovers upon hearing his voice.

Records from Wikipedia and other sources has it that Samini Started singing at church in the choir as a member in his teenage.For national recognition, Samini has won several awards at the Ghana Music Awards, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and others with several other nominations to his credit.

On the international market, he has an award as Best African Act from MOBO Awards, African Artist of the year at Headies and album of the year at Raggaeville with his 2018 album ‘Untammed’ but he has announced recently that he is working on a new project which appears to be an EP dubbed Burning which has received massive attention since it surfaced online.

He has over 27 awards from both national, continental and International award schemes with over 40 nominations to his name and career.
