Popular Ghanaian music icon Peter Famiyeh better known as Fameye in the entertainment industry has respectfully gone according to the copyright rules stated out to him by his former management the OGB Music.
In a performance on Media General’s TV Ghana, Fameye was featured on today’s holiday edition of the of popular morning show TV3 New day to give out a performance just like several other artists that were featured on the show.
In his performance, Fameye kept giving out stunning performances of his back to back hit songs until the DJ dropped his breakthrough song ‘Nothing I Get’ but Fameye boldly stated he will not perform the song.
This behavior by Fameye was in respect to the copyright ownership Issues between himself and his former management the OGB Music owned by fellow musician Ogidi Brown which stated that Fameye has no rights to perform any Song he recorded under his former record label.
The unfortunate copyright rules came into serious effect after the sudden departure of Fameye from his former record label OGB Music which was caused by misunderstandings between himself his former boss Ogidi Brown.
Ogidi Brown after completing the legal separation process came out on social media to warn Fameye never to perform any song he recorded that is licensed to OGB Music or face legal action for it.
